I've recently come back from a lovely 2 weeks holiday close to Venice. A stunning place.
We were staying in a nice apartment a stones throw from the pool in a mid-sized holiday park. Every evening, at the pool complex, they had a kids disco from 8-9pm playing a mix of assorted euro-shite kiddie pop in that we could hear from our balcony. Not a problem as such, we have kids ourselves so know they enjoy this kind of stuff and have every right to have a jig about. However... This bastard song has been stuck in my head for nearly a week now. |

On that note, this song from The Kinks is in my head about half of the time for the last year, I probably posted it in this thread already:

I took my younger son to see a 'Comedy for kids' performance last week at a local theatre. One of the performers was selling his CD afterwards so, in the spirit of encouraging youngsters to develop their musical tastes, I bought him one and it's been playing non-stop in the car since.
This one is a proper ear worm. Very nicely animated by another comedienne- Bec Hill |
