They're going to have to bring back sweatshops before I can buy something like that.

That’s a nice looking cardigan, do you know where it’s made?

Hmm - they certainly used to be made in the UK, but the wording seems to have changed to them just being made of 100% british wool, which means they're not anymore. Disappointing.

I recently picked up a jumper from Inis Meain, who definitely still make their stuff in Ireland - I've been coveting their Pub Jacket, which is in the same ballpark too (linen rather than wool tho)

Probably not a big enough market for them anymore, To warrant making them in the UK...I would imagine
Your still producing plenty of wool, I traveled through your country in 99, I remember seeing plenty of wool.

I dunno, there seems to be a growing market for UK made stuff. A number of new brands sprung up in recent years, and still a reasonable number of manufacturers who'd make them for them (They previously had jackets made by a place in Bolton which still makes jackets...)

I think this covid circus, will result in some domestic production making a small comeback, how long this will last is anyone’s guess- some thrift stores are opening back up today, In the last week, I’m finally feeling the affects....so we’re
Going down to rent a fast car ( cuz that’s fun to do sometimes) and I’m going on the hunt.
