Think i might have to retire my size 33 CSF, they're just far too delicate Cry

Every time i wear them some new holes open up.. final straw... last night i got on the bike to ride up to the shop and just lifting my leg over the saddle has torn a large hole in the crotch, opposite side to the patch and darn job.

They've done well! 2 years wear in the evenings and weekends is good going for me.

Also in need of repair, i have'nt worn them for months..i'll have to sort them out in the coming weeks.

In my case when jeans get to the stage where they need a small repair, they're days are numbered and its only a matter of weeks before they become completely un-wearable no matter how much patching goes on.

No surprise...

I'll buy another pair of 46's, just gotta decide whether to go for the 33" or 34" waist

These repro's are what ive spent the last 20 years looking for, only the old SC47's came close.

Is authenticity to the original Levis the thing that makes CSF stand out for you, Double 0?

Yup, that's it CSL, if i could buy 1940's era Levi's for sub £400 i wouldn't entertain this repro game for a second.

That's what i want^ if i can't have it, i want the next best thing

Double 0, would you mind shooting some pics of those 33s? I was looking at the new Roys, but since CSFs are in the same ballpark price wise and I'm all about repro Levi's, I'm seriously considering jumping on the wagon.

Yeah, i am aware, but I thought that perhaps some significant progress had been made in the mean time. Those old photos working fine too
