   Johnb made me realize that I hadn't posted my Clinch boots in this thread so here are all 3 of my pairs.
This first one is the pair I got for a steal BNIB from someone who bought them from Pancho and Lefty. They are the standard brown horween latigo leather. This hide is so thick and stiff that I use these as my beater boots. I've done a decent amount of actual physical work in them and they've done a great job handling it all. I'll clean them up eventually, but I'm loving how they look as they get thrashed.

	The next two pairs are the ones that I custom ordered after falling in love with the first pair. The black pair were worn for a few hours when the pictures were taken and the brown ones were only tried on. The black pair is made with their Japanese veg-tanned cowhide. It's a beautiful leather and while not as heavy duty as the latigo, it certainly feels more substantial than chromexcel and other similar leathers. I also went with red contrast stitching with I love the look of. The brown pair is my favorite pair of boots that I own right now. I love the light contrast stitching that I chose and even better is the stunning horsehide leather. As much as I love my Role Clubs, this leather walks all over the chromexcel HH from Role Club and really makes it look dull and almost sub-par by comparison. Apparently it is horsebutt from an Italian tannery that is finished by Shinki in Japan. Whether or not this is true, this is easily the most beautiful boot leather I have ever seen tied with Badalassi cognac.

	Hi, Just thought I'd post a picture - sorry, no idea of make but I bought them in Camden in about 1988 and have worn them regularly over the last 30 years, tough as old boots!

	Like I say to the mirror every morning, there may be a couple of dings here and there but anything that manages to survive that long without having completely fallen to pieces is, by definition, high quality. Here's to enjoying stuff until every last seam is bust.
