Ah, now there's inspiration, Johnb.  Not to mention a lovely showcasing of Brian's excellent work.

Alas, dear Bros, I have been reduced to giant snow overalls, two parkas (the outer one with a giant funnel hood), and hard-core work boots (meaning the padded, ugly, nobbly kind that construction workers wear in Canada when the weather has caused the brass monkeys to hit alto soprano notes with ease).

When it's this cold, there is no fashion beyond the living room.

I have a pair of cheap beaters that are at Brian’s awaiting his magic touch. Gonna be the nicest cheap beaters ever.

My new (Iamdog123's old) Road Champs.

Edit: Nice Attractions.

Question for owners of multiple pairs of engineer boots: What boots took the longest to break in?  The shortest?

Road champs straight out of box zero break in
Attractions 15-25 hours
Cinch 50 plus hours (plus boot stretching for narrowness)

Motos comfortable straight out of box
Vibergs over a year wearing regularly and still stiff, heavy
Lone Wolfs comfortable straight out of box, but taking forever to develop patina

I'm starting to grow quite fond of the engineer look and style... But i don't have big money to go after some Attractions and the likes. Where would be a good place to start? I was thinking of one without the steel capped toe.
