Is it common for blouse that early to have 4 buttons only?

I would think it happened with say- men that had a lot of extra pork....But going by most pictures you see- most of these guys were pencils, and probably not unstitching.

We have never seen these unstitched, in pieces or whole garments....But were finding garments from the hard labor kind of folks- most likely pencils.

I’ll have to look at some of my pictures, I don’t think it’s uncommon.
