Well, an elephant’s leg is the ‘meat’ for a doner kebab!

"Treats" I ate as a kid:
Cough Candy - god knows how they made it - looked a bit like rotting toffee - brilliant stuff... Kayli- sugar and ascorbic acid mixture (I guess) - Rainbow Crystals were the best - different coloured layers in the jar. Dipped a wet finger into the bag to eat it. Fabulous - very surprised I still have teeth! |

"£2000 bike or £3000 with a different sticker. Who the heck buys this nonsense?" Hipsters who like red (a lot), don't mind a mud-track up their bespoke-denim-clad backsides, and have access to a bike lock-up under 24/7 surveillance? PS Though I don't indulge any more, my childhood candy favourites were sponge candy, barley sugar lollies and salt-water taffy. Christmas sweets entailed sneaky raids on the marachino cherry jar and/or a chocolate bon-bon offered from the Pot O' Gold box... Now excuse me while I seek a source of insulin. |

I read an article years ago that compared & rated toasters. Turned out the cheapest one worked best.
