I was over at my moms house this week, painting her bedroom. This was the first picture i took- after placing all of the picture frames on her bed. I totally overlooked the lump under her covers, i went out into the hallway and my moms husband asked if Pook was still on the bed? I told him- No i haven't seen her. We both walked into the bedroom, where Paul pointed out the lump- there she is. This is Pook There's nothing all that interesting about my paint job, so i took some pictures of my mother's portraits- she enjoys painting on her off time. This painting here is out of Men's File She painted Christolph with out me knowing- i certainly couldn't tell it was him from the painting my painting gear my nephew looking like a vampire. I like the paintings your mom did. especially the pook one! she did the cutouts under that last portrait too? first 7 are from an army navy store by me, the first 2 i got 10 years ago and they said they were the last they had. a year ago they went out of business and i got the rest for half price when they cleaned the place out. i have a second clean pair of the lee genuine too. next two just thrifted. last one I get at the paint store but they are getting rarer. |

Monday, I started a 2 1/2 day job at a place called UTI- It's an automotive college. By the looks of the students, It would seem that women, aren't trying to break into auto repair just yet. This classroom was sponsored by Interstate Batteries, the color might have given it away for some Since the great recession, even painting, isn't any thing more than another side hustle. Now when i work for my old boss, I get a helper, usually Nick. Nice painters pants Lazy, here is my one pocket pair of shorts from the 80's. I had a bout of Chimpanzee rage, my back left pocket stitching came half way out, on the bottom of the pocket- I forgot about the hole in my pocket, maybe 30 or more times, so the last time it happened, I reached around and tore it off. Edit- my phone dropped out of my back pocket- over 30 times Wash tag I hit one thrift store on the way home, thrifting at 4:30 in the afternoon, usually doesn't produce good results, but i picked this up. I'm a real sucker for this label. They always say- the camera adds 90 Lb's, I have to shed- some winter weight. Job done! |

I helped my cousin out, I worked a day doing prep work on a commercial building he's working on. My cousin has had a long standing account, working for a large waste disposal company, This place has three yard cats- as you will see...... This cat sleeps with the security guard- on his golf cart. this one found our work station This one's in the Boss mans- inside parking garage. Boots that don't look all that good with age. This place had the same type of wash station- that back in the late 1980's, I played my best unintentional prank ever. Back in the late 80's- My father's employee and I, were painting the outside of this large commercial building. I went inside the building to wash out my brush, i finished up and Marteen walked in with his brush- he had never seen this type of wash sink- he didn't know that you turned the water on with your foot He asked- How do you turn on the water? I took out my rag, and smacked it against the water pipe that came from the ceiling, and fed into the top of thee sink, the water came on (I was working it with my foot) The water stopped- now it was his turn, he smacked the pipe with his rag- nothing happens, he tries again, nothing I show him another way- I move the soap handle- the water comes on.......He tries Nothing.......I take out my putty knife, i touch the side of the sink- the water comes on. This went on for 5 minutes, with the new ways of turning the water on- getting more and more ridiculous with each advancing step. To this day- I've never seen a man's face, that puzzled...........ever again. |
