Years ago, i took up the hobby of collecting billheads, it's fairly inexpensive and sometimes' a great way to gain information. Its interested me for years now, when was the first pocket put on, the bib part- of a pair of- bib overalls? This is no proof- but i do find it interesting- that the illustration has no pocket, on the bib. Chinese Company A possible link, I'll explain in another thread. |

Picked up a few billheads recently. I'm willing to bet this company out of Sacramento- was making dart stitched pants in the 1880's |

I want to say Augustus, been so long I’m not sure, I did receive a call- years ago from
A guy named Paul Elfelt, according to him, he was one of 48 Elfelt’s in the US. Paul told me His family had no idea of their Jewish heritage, then he read in his local newspaper a story about His grandfather ( who was still alive at the time) I want to say, Paul lived in Wisconsin? It’s been So many years, I forget that too. |

Really nice billheads! Would you consider selling the Elkhead Shirts billhead? I have an early workshirt made by Elkhead that would pair so nicely with this little piece of history. It's the gem of my collection. Thanks for the consideration. Also, I love this forum! First post and so much to explore.
Best, Mitch
