I can be one of those people Sansome but Baseball is the only team sport I am into enough that you'll catch me clapping or hooting while watching.

I've never been good at meeting new people.
I've never traveled through the American South West.
I've never been arrested or convicted of a crime (though I have spent an uncomfortable hour in the back of a police cruiser)

I don't knock it- if I lived in or grew up in the Bay Area- things might be different- I can see if I put a wager on a game- that might change things as well. My father had Anaheim Angels season ticket from like 1980-1990.....I went to at least 80/100 games it would seem...... I've seen Reggie Jackson hit at least 100 home runs- but all he did was swing for the fence- so I probably seen him strike out 200 times.

I would also like to defend Geppetto, his unscientific branch of rhino-erectile wood-based-eugenics might not be everyones cup of tea but i defend his right to practice, although making a fire inside a  whale does overstep the line in regards to the ethical treatment of animals.
