LVC was still made in USA up until about 2018 I think. Definitely as far as 2017 and possibly up to 2019. Why are you uncertain about 2008?

The last factory owned by Levi’s (Valencia street in San Francisco) closed early 2000s. Levi’s we’re still made by sub contracted factories in the USA up to 2018(ish). |

Like a whole lot of brands- I believe Mister Freedom and many others
We’re made in a factory in Los Angeles, some of Rising Sun stuff was Even made at this place…Including LVC until they went to Bulgaria. |

Didn’t know that, is that so people will buy them- meaning, going from US production to Bulgarian Production might have put off a few folks (I’m guessing) Made in Japan will always sound better |

Hi,new to this site,hope I’m getting this correct.I’ve just bought a pair of LVC 1984 rigid selvedge jeans,made in Bulgaria,from a uk store.Really impressed with quality,all tags attached,comes with LVC cloth bag.Only thing that concerns me is,no factory code stamped on rear of top waist button.Is this something I should be worried about.Thanks.
