Great photo Cory,
unfortunately the pics of my 551ZXX are pale in comparison, but I was asked by a member from another well known denim forum to take some fits, so I'd thought I'd post 'em here too -
 
 
 
 
I really like these, hardly wore them untill recently.  Lvc's heaviest denim to date?  14oz sanforized by Cone's 686 process (here's the pocket flashers from a pair I sold)
 
 
 
 
 
 
Details:
 Offset belt-loop is great but the arcs are IMO the best I've seen from Lvc. 
I really like the label, although it should still have the 'Every Garment Guaranteed' on it to be a '63 model, as this didn't go until '64 on originals.  My only real gripe is the zipper pull is small, would've rather Lvc put a Scoville/Gripper or even a reproTalon zipper pull on them.
 
 
 
 
 
They were from the original orange tag re-issues from  09/96 -

Some stuff from the LVC booth at inspiration. Most of the stuff on display were prototypes for F/W2012. There will be two themes- both 1940s, i think, boxing and motorcycles. Several nice MC-looking Ts & sweaters, a black leather motorcycle jacket, an interesting grey (wool, I think) suit, repros of the '20s sunset shirt they did in red a few seasons back with the fine stitching and small buttons, this time in blue and green. 
Another Menlo version, this time in a surprisingly heavy brown cowhide, with a '20s cords to its right.

'20s sports togs bottoms, matching the jacket from 2000.


 The return of the 1978 501. 


This was exciting to me- a new '20s 201 as well.
