Our second book was condensed from 523 pages down to 320. This picture belongs to my friend Bobby, it's from 1908 and was taken before a title fight in Goldfield Nevada- unfortunately this picture was removed from our second book- I care for this sweater! |

Where I'm from, it used to be considered "dressing up" when you wore new overalls and a white shirt. Wearing a tie would have been putting on airs.
The third photo is interesting and they look like American Indians. Note the buttoned collar. Also note that several of the hats are pinched into a Montana peak. I'd say that was from around 1900. They might even be Canadian. (Canadian American Indians?). Is the last photo at a CCC camp?

The bib overall kid clan gives the names of them all, but no date.
All of the other three pictures were in a scrap book at one time, no writing on any Of those- I think your right about the American or Canadian Indians- time period seems right also? |
