A place to ask questions that aren't necessarily worthy of their own thread, or might potentially take a thread off topic.

I'll go ahead and start this off.  I was reading some tweet or something and read about 'Haus of Strauss' a levis shop in LA.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me a bit more about it. Is it a store, I googled like hell and couldn't really get a solid answer.

I guess many of you will find this an incredibly silly question . . .

I am a big nerd, my new son won't be able to wear 'jeans' or even denim really so I had the idea of getting some chambray 'swaddling' cloth... the only thing is I am not entirely sure where to source 2-3 yards of good chambray.  The fabric stores here have 'chambray' but it's all blend stuff dyed with synthetic indigo.

Does anyone know of a good source ?

Hey bob, this place doesn't have minimums and their prices aren't bad! They can also swatch out for you if you want to feel the stuff before you place an order...

Meeee tooooo! I know how to sew a bit and I have an old 60s singer straight stitch machine. I've been thinking of getting a heavy duty singer. Wish I could learn some pattern drafting skills... at the very least I wish I could make another pair of my favorite jeans.

Guys, anyone have an info on these US-made Woolrich by Round House dungaree pants? Picked them up in TK Maxx for £25 and they're pretty decent albeit more lightweight than you might imagine:

Cheers in advance!
