Thanks ^, Mr. Randal. I have another ?. Does http://www.e-cream.jp AKA American Clothing Cream or http://j-clothing.com aka J-Clothing store ship to the U.S.? E-mailed one but don't know the email of the other. Specifically, Ecream/American Clothing Cream doesn't appear to have an email or at least I can't find it. Maybe, someone knows or has dealt w/ them. Again, Thanks in advance.

Our member 'the bandana almanac' does proxy service for some things too. You might try sending him a pm and asking if he can help.

What's the hairiest 1947-style jeans available?
My NOS 1980s 501 was extremely hairy. My new LVC 1947 shows no hair at all. Both were dry/raw.

I believe the Levi's 501' made in the 1970's and early 1980's used shorter staple cotton, which is hairier/fluffier (and cheaper to produce I think) - Some people think that the hairier the denim, the better. It's just a matter of opinion; I prefer both for different reasons. My 1970's NOS 501's are not in any way superior in build than my 1947's or '55's. Although both were made at Valencia street, so they are not from the new season.

Didn't ... Warehouse make a Texas Cotton 5010xx (or however their numbering system works) that had long staple cotton.
A ton of brands make super slubby jeans, Momotaro -- naked/famous,... I believe Doc is right though, it's just a matter of opinion and hairy denim doesn't always yield better fades or better feel. |

Agreed, but it's just that I love the feel and texture. Are '47 Sugar Canes any hairy?

Got a question regarding Tulsa shoe re-builders. They've had my boots for over 2 months & now are ignoring my emails. Although, initially they did not. I'm starting to loose patience & about to call them directly. Is this abnormal event for them or common practice. I'm tempted to take the loss & not pay them their fee. I'm assuming they've done a shit job & this is their reasoning for not contacting me. So why waste the extra cash on what I assume will be a botched job. Any opinions or advice would be helpful. Thanks. If you have advice or answer please PM me, this way I can read your response via email. Again, Thank you.

any recommendations for a retro sneaker that fits a little on the wider side? I have a pair of size 10 Purcells that fit good length wise, but they're tight in the toes. Some PF Fyler models a little wider?

The 1970's reissue 'first string' converse all stars are a little wider than regular all stars.
