I hope they went to someone who plans to repro, I was bummed when that auction got yanked.
I make things out of leather.

They have the dots going the wrong way. I know this is a let's be different thing. But I would never shell out the big bux for the above shirt.

Why does everyone in the repro crowd hate on Iron Heart so much. The fabrics are very nice. The construction is very utilitarian, but that doesn't make it a lesser product. Personally, I like heavier fabrics because they obviously last longer (maybe not the 16oz and over denim, due to crotch blowouts). I've felt stiffel repro fabrics and they are very light weight and delicate. I use my gear all day, everyday, so light fabrics tend to rip much easier. Please school me on why a 4.5oz twill will hold up better than a 12oz twill. Not trying to be a dick, just wondering why no one takes Iron Heart seriously, but people are into Made in China brands like RRL on here. Thoughts?

I don't see any hate for IH around here. It is just a very different, more modern look from the vintage focus that most people prefer on here. I think there are lot more brands that get a lot more focus than RRL on Denimbro too which are not made in China.

Hollows-  It's sort of a double-edged sword. Gluckow, Larry, Taka, Brit, Zip, and others have way deeper pockets for auctions as noticeable as one like stifel swatches.  It's unfortunate that these guys troll eBay and make it nearly impossible for the average joe to swipe a coat or overall or dungaree for less than a grand.

The other side of the sword is that it is quite funny how my watchlist on my account seemingly has an item that soars from 250-2000 in the last two minutes about daily and I just think in my head it was one of the higher powers of the workwear gods that took it from my price range.

But also-- pointing it out that this is a preferred fabric on a website is only going to rob you of a lot more items off the bay because that many more eyes are watching! beware hollows, beware!

Has anyone checked out the Topaz Wabash workpants?

They are different from most others in that they're not of twill but duck fabric. That should be quite nice.
